Is Spotify Dead? Guwahati’s Mehboob Hassan Just Unleashed the “Sonic Reality” Era

Is Spotify Dying?

The era of passive listening is on notice. While giants like Spotify and YouTube Music fight over algorithms, a visionary developer from Guwahati, Mehboob Hassan, has just dropped the first glimpse of the weapon that might make them all obsolete.

Enter the Dhwoni Sonic Reality Engine.

It’s not the streaming service—yet. It is a browser-based interactive promo tool designed to showcase the proprietary 4D audio technology that will power Hassan’s upcoming platform, Dhwoni.

Unlike the flat, 2D audio experience we’ve accepted for decades, the Dhwoni promo engine proves that music can be a malleable, 4D physical object. Hassan has unlocked “Infinite Audio” in this teaser, allowing users to pinch-zoom into the molecular structure of a beat, drag to crush bit-rates into lo-fi dust, and warp time itself with a touch.

“We are teasing the future,” says Hassan. “The Dhwoni streaming service is coming soon, and it won’t be about just playing a song; it will be about inhabiting it. This engine is the proof of concept: we are handing the controls back to the listener.”

Early testers of the promo are calling it “hallucinogenic audio.” The engine features a mesmerizing Tesseract interface where users can throw sound into a 3D orbit or expand it into a cinematic ‘Void’ reverb simply by spreading their fingers.

The Call to Arms

The project is currently in a high-octane promotional phase, building hype before the full platform launch. Hassan is issuing a challenge to the creative world and looking for visionary investors to help scale this reality-bending tech into a full-fledged streaming giant.
But first, the artists take over. Hassan is inviting producers, beatmakers, and audiophiles to test the SRE, record their unique audio-visual performances, and upload their #DhwoniSessions to the internet to get whitelisted for the main launch.
