MAAP Takes Guwahati on a City Bus Ride with Sass Queen of Hip Hop Rosoki

After the success of SUZUKI, the dynamic duo Mic and a Pizza (M.A.A.P) is back, this time in a city bus, alongside the ‘Sass Queen of Hip Hop’ herself, Tannaz Mahreen a.k.a Rosoki.

They’ve dropped “Khali Gaari! Khali Gaari!,” a multilingual rap track named after the cheeky, sing-song call of Guwahati’s bus conductors.

From the first beat, Khali Gaari! announces itself as a loud, khaati celebration of chaos, street energy, and unapologetic local flavor. Packed with satire, punchy bars, and a whole lot of hometown swagger, the track pulls listeners straight into the city’s rhythm.

The lyrics weave in familiar scenes and inside jokes only the city’s people will fully feel. Zoo Road ladies acting like SoBo girls. Uzanbazar crowned as the spot. Mentions of other streets, cafés, and hangouts slip into the flow effortlessly, the references hitting like nods between old friends. Each bar is delivered with the kind of catchy precision that keeps you rewinding, half for the beat, half for the grin it leaves you with.

The single’s cover art (illustrated by @doeremiii) captures the spirit perfectly: a crammed Mini City Service bus (Route 38) rattling through the city, Rosoki and M.A.A.P hanging by the door, ready to take you on board. The Khali Gari is stopping, are you getting on?

With Khali Gaari!, Rosoki and M.A.A.P prove again they know exactly how to bottle Guwahati’s chaos, warmth, and humor into something you can nod your head to.
